Cross-stitch fabric size works out fabric size to buy for a cross-stitch pattern, from stitch count, fabric count and margin. Enter your own figures above and the answer updates as you type: nothing is fixed in the code, so the result reflects exactly the numbers you supply.

The formula
FormulaStitched size = pattern stitches / fabric count (threads per inch); fabric to buy = stitched size + 2 × margin
