What this calculator does
There are 168 hours in a week: 24 hours a day multiplied by the 7 days of the week. It is one of the few genuinely fixed conversions on this site, since a week is always 7 days and a day is always 24 hours, unlike a month or a year, which vary in length.
This calculator states that fixed figure directly, and also extends it to any number of weeks entered, in case the question is really "how many hours are in 3 weeks" or "how many hours are in a fortnight" rather than the single-week figure alone.

A fortnight is 2 weeks, so entering 2 above gives 336 hours, exactly double the single-week figure.
Does this account for daylight saving time changes?
No. This is a fixed calendar conversion (24 hours × 7 days) rather than a count of actual elapsed clock hours across a specific real week, so it does not adjust for the one week a year that gains or loses an hour to daylight saving.
